Smart links let you redirect traffic to multiple landing pages through a single link. Whether you want to target a vertical with multiple pages or A/B test two pages to find the best performer, smart links have you covered.

This feature is only available for the Enterprise and Network plans.

⚠️ Only redirect landing pages can be used in smart links. Learn more about redirect landing pages in this article.

What are smart links?

Smart links bundle multiple redirect landing pages into a single link, distributing traffic based on one of two methods:

  1. Equal Weight:
Traffic is evenly distributed across landing pages. Weights are recalculated only when pages are added or removed.

  2. Weight by EPC:
Traffic distribution dynamically adjusts based on earnings per click (EPC). Pages with higher EPC are prioritized.

Setting up a smart link

Navigate to Offers -> Smart links, and click on the Create smart link button.

Add a name and description visible to affiliates (e.g., purpose or payout details). Affiliates cannot see the landing pages included.

Next, select the offers to filter eligible landing pages.

Finally, select which distribution method you would like to use.

  • For Weight by EPC, set the minimum number of conversions required to start dynamic distribution. Until then, traffic uses equal weight.

Smart link overview

Smart links have two states: active and inactive. You can deactivate a smart link if you no longer have use for it and want to keep the list tidy. Traffic to deactivated smart link will no longer be accepted.

You can review the weight distribution of landing pages and get details about how many times was the specific landing page targeted. You can also add and/or remove landing pages to an existing smart link.

Note that when doing so will recalculate the equal weight distribution and reset EPC algorithm back to zero. You can also reset the distribution manually by clicking the reset link usage button.

Affiliate related settings

Find affiliate-specific smart link settings under Settings -> Tracking -> Smart Links:

  • Enable or disable affiliate access to smart link tracking links.

  • Show offer for smartlink clicks and conversions setting – Affiliates cannot see the landing pages included but can view the offer targeted for each click/conversion if you enable the Show Offer for Smart Link Clicks and Conversions setting. When disabled, offer details are hidden in reports.
