Welcome! πŸ‘‹

We will show you how to get started with Trackdesk. There are a few parts of the system that are recommended to begin setting it up.

Let's define the goals of your affiliate program. We call these conversion types.

Conversion Types

The conversion types setting is present in settings in the General section on the Conversion types page. The settings menu is present in the vertical menu in the last position.

Add the conversion types that will define what you will pay your affiliates or what you would like to track for affiliates. We've added some for you. Feel free to add and customize them.

For more information about conversion types, please refer to this article - Conversion types.

Tiers

Now it's time to set up how much you will pay your affiliates using tiers. The tiers setting is present in settings in the Affiliates section on the Tiers page.

If you would like to separate affiliates feel free to add a few tiers. The most common case is to use of a VIP tier on top of the default Standard one.

Continue by defining the commission rate of tiers, in other words, how much you plan to pay your affiliates, a commission rate for tiers is used when an offer is created, to predefine values in the offer.

For more information about tiers, please refer to this article - Tier settings.

Terms & Conditions

An affiliate program should be legally protected and well-defined. We've prepared a set of terms & conditions with standard practices.

For more information about Terms & Conditions, please refer to this article - Terms and Conditions.

And that's it!

Now that you have the basics the set next step is to move to create an offers and setup the tracking to have a fully working system. Now you've seen all you need to finish the basic setup of your affiliate program.
