Offers are at the heart of Trackdesk. They let you control the flow of traffic and the commission structure for your affiliates. Creating an offer takes a few short steps.
Creating a new offer
To create an offer, go to Offers in the left sidebar.
Then click Create new offer to open the offer configuration.
Name
Give the offer a name. The name is visible to everyone in the offer list, so it should help affiliates identify what the offer is for when you have multiple offers.
Landing page URL
The landing page specifies the page where affiliates send their visitors. There are two methods available: Direct linking and Redirecting.
Direct linking
Direct linking uses affiliate links that lead straight to your landing page. You can define a set of landing pages that will track all incoming traffic, with tracking scripts on the landing page handling the tracking information.
Redirecting
Redirecting routes affiliate links through Trackdesk's redirect service before reaching the landing page. This lets you send visitors to different landing pages based on their geographical location (from IP address), operating system, device type, or language. The redirect also passes the Trackdesk Click ID to the landing page so conversions can be attributed later, typically via postbacks.
Payout settings
Choose how you want to pay your affiliates. The payout settings cover:
Setting a fixed or percentage commission value.
Selecting a currency for the offer.
Limiting how many conversions can be accepted from one visitor.
Adding additional events to track on the offer (for example, a lead or a free trial).
What to do next
Once the offer is created, you'll be taken to the offer's integration instructions. The next step is to integrate the tracking method so clicks and conversions are tracked correctly.
You can follow the instructions on the offer's Integrations tab, or see the Integrations collection for guides on specific integration setups.
Advanced offer create
If the basic offer create doesn't cover what you need, click Advanced offer create, which is visible on the first step of the basic flow (see the second screenshot above). For details on the advanced flow, see Advanced Offer Create.
