If your tracking relies on affiliate sub-parameters (Aff S1–S5), you can define default values that are automatically included in all affiliate links. These values can also serve as placeholders or guidance for affiliates on what data should be passed.
How affiliate link parameters work
By default, additional parameters (Aff S1–S5) are hidden in the affiliate interface to keep the view clean and focused on the main action, taking the tracking link.
Affiliates can access them by clicking Advanced options in the Get link section, where they can enter or modify parameter values.
How to set default parameters
To configure default parameters:
Navigate to Settings → Tracking → Affiliate Tracking Links
Enable the Default parameters toggle
For each parameter (Aff S1 – S5):
Enable or disable it individually
Set a default value
Once configured, enabled parameters will be automatically included for affiliates taking tracking links.
How it works
Default values are automatically added to affiliate tracking links
These values act as pre-filled examples or placeholders
Affiliates can adjust them using Advanced options if needed
Disabled parameters are not included in tracking links by default
💡 Why use default parameters?
Default parameters help you standardize tracking and guide affiliates on how to use sub-parameters correctly.
You can use clear placeholder values to indicate what should be filled in, for example:
REPLACE_WITH_CLICK_IDENTER_SUB_SOURCEADD_TRAFFIC_CHANNEL
For example:
Aff S1 → Click ID from an external tracker
Aff S2 → Sub-source or placement ID
Aff S3 → Traffic channel (e.g. Facebook, Google, Email)
This makes it easier for affiliates to understand what each parameter is used for, while still allowing them to customize the values based on their setup.
✅ Summary
Parameters are hidden by default and accessible via Advanced options
Default values act as guidance and placeholders
Affiliates can modify values when generating links
