Use various settings to control access to creating and editing conversions to add a layer of security and control to your affiliate program.

This feature is only available for Starter plans and higher.

⚠️ Pay extra caution when setting up the feature to avoid unwanted traffic loss.

To set global settings, head over to Settings –> Tracking –> Authorization

Disabling tracking scripts

Use this setting if you want to completely disable all conversion scripts within your system. When tracking scripts are disabled, conversions can only be created via API.

Allow editing of conversions via API

You can enable the option to allow conversions to be edited via API. Please note that enabling this setting will allow anyone who with access to CID (or External CID) and revenue origin ID to edit any conversion in the system. Conversions edited via this method will be uniquely marked in activity logs.

IP whitelisting

IP whitelists can be set up on three levels:

  • Global

  • Advertiser (available only for Network users)

  • Offers

Whitelists are complementary, meaning the global whitelist setting is always automatically applied to all traffic across the system. The advertiser level and offer level are complementary to the global setting and will allow additional traffic on either a specific offer or on all offers of the set advertiser.

IP whitelist setting does not differentiate between integration methods; they will apply to traffic generated from tracking scripts and from API.

Setting up IP whitelists

To add an IP address to the whitelist, simply type it into the text box. If you want to add multiple addresses, press enter and type a different address on a new line.

For whitelisting addresses on a specific offer, head to the offer detail and navigate to the Authorization page. You will find the IP whitelist box an the bottom of the general page; the same behavior as in the global setting applies:

Advertiser level whitelists

Advertiser level whitelists are available only for users using the Network features. Navigate to the advertiser detail to open the side modal with the setting and click on the Authorization accordion:

Setting uses the same logic as the global and offer level settings; simply write the whitelisted addresses into the text box. To add multiple addresses, enter a new line.
