How to work with the report builder
Report builder allows you to create your own reports with groupings that go up to 3 levels in depth. To work with the builder, simply start adding the groupings to display the data:
You can also change the displayed date range and add further filters. Drag and drop the grouping order to build new reports and context on the fly.
Filtering by tag
Alongside the standard groupings, you can filter and group your reports by tag. The report builder supports three tag filters - offer tag, affiliate tag, and advertiser tag - and lets you group report rows by tag as well. This makes it easy to compare performance across tag groups, for example revenue per affiliate tag or conversions per offer tag.
Tags are color-coded labels you create under Settings → Tags and apply to offers, affiliates, advertisers, and affiliate managers. For setup and full details, see Tags.
Report builder drilldowns
Drilldowns let you add extra column groups to a report, limited to a specific conversion type, conversion status, or a combination of both. This shows a subset of data from the full aggregate so you get more context.
To add a drilldown, click the drilldown button and select the conversion type or status to view. You can also choose which metrics appear in the drilldowns (the metric visibility setting is shared across all drilldown groups). Supported metrics are:
Conversions
Revenue
Payout
Profit
A common use case is a sale + lead drilldown to see how many conversions in a selected metric were sales versus leads.
Report builder presets
Create your own presets to quickly load a specific configuration of groupings and build an overview of what matters most to you.
To add a preset, click the ➕ button at the top of the page and name it however you like. To edit a preset, start configuring the report builder, and once you're happy with the setup, confirm your changes in the preset tab with the ✅ button for easy access later.
Which conversion statuses are counted
The numbers in your reports reflect the conversion statuses selected for your account. There are two levels:
Account default - An admin sets this under Settings → General → Dashboard and Reports by enabling default report filtering and choosing which statuses are selected by default. The same selection applies to the dashboard, the daily report, the overview reports, and the report builder.
Personal override - Each user can adjust the selection directly in a report, and the override is remembered for their own sessions.
For more on this setting, see Dashboard and Reports.
