ChatGPT can connect to your Trackdesk account through the Trackdesk MCP server. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT about your affiliates, conversions and payouts, or have it make changes for you, without leaving the conversation.
You sign in with your own Trackdesk account and approve the access. There is no API key to copy, and ChatGPT works with exactly the permissions your account has.
Before you start
You will need:
A ChatGPT account that can add custom MCP servers
Your Trackdesk Tenant ID, the subdomain you log in with
A Trackdesk account. Admins and team members can connect right away. Affiliates and advertisers can connect when the program allows it.
Connect ChatGPT
Open the ChatGPT Plugins page and click + → Add custom MCP server.
Paste your server URL, choose OAuth and click Create as a plugin:
https://TENANT_ID.trackdesk.com/mcp
Replace
TENANT_IDwith your Tenant ID.Sign in to Trackdesk when ChatGPT asks you to, check the application name, and click Allow access.
Trackdesk now appears among your ChatGPT plugins.
What ChatGPT can do
The server gives ChatGPT two tools that together cover the Trackdesk public API:
search: Finds the right API endpoint for a request.
execute: Calls that endpoint on your behalf.
You don't need to know endpoint names or parameters. Ask in plain language, for example:
"List the last five affiliates that joined my Trackdesk program."
"Show me approved conversions from the past seven days."
"Which offers generated the most revenue last month?"
If you're an affiliate, ChatGPT sees only your own data in the program: your offers, coupons, balances, payouts and reports.
⚠️ Important: Changes ChatGPT makes take effect immediately, exactly as if you made them in Trackdesk. Review what it proposes before you confirm.
Disconnect ChatGPT
You can remove the plugin in ChatGPT at any time. To revoke the access on the Trackdesk side, open Connected applications and click the delete icon next to ChatGPT:
Admins and team members: Settings → Integrations → OAuth2
Affiliates and advertisers: Tools → Integrations → OAuth2
If the connection fails
Check that the URL uses your own subdomain and ends in
/mcp.If Trackdesk says your account is not allowed to authorize applications, sign in with a different account, or ask the program owner to allow it.
If ChatGPT reports an authentication error later, disconnect and connect again to approve a fresh access.
