Attribution type

Decides which affiliate is credited with a conversion if a visitor clicks on tracking links from different affiliates before conversion occurs. There are two options for this setting: first touch and last touch. With first touch, the affiliate whose link was clicked first is credited with the conversion; with last touch, the affiliate whose link was clicked last receives the conversion.

Attribution priority

When both CID/External CID are present during conversion and coupon code is redeemed, you can choose what conversion should be created. The setting will determine if coupon conversion is created, or standard click attributed conversion is created.

Cookie expiration

With the cookie expiration settings, you can decide how long the tracking cookie will be saved in a visitor's browser and be attributed to a specific affiliate. This allows you to set the length of days a cookie’s information is retained about a user’s click behavior on your affiliate links.

FAQ:

Can I change my cookie length?

Yes, if you want to change cookie length from the default 30 days to any other value, you can do so. Just go to Settings --> Conversion attribution.

Is there a maximum length for cookie duration?

Yes there is a maximum legth. Maximum length is 365 days. Reason for this limitation is that all major browser have this exact limitation and adding a higher number results in tracking not working (cookies not saving).
