Marketplace Guide for Affiliates

Join the marketplace, apply to offers, and learn how conversions are validated and when you get paid.

Written by Trackdesk Team

The Trackdesk Marketplace is where affiliates (also called publishers) find and promote vetted offers from Trackdesk advertisers. This guide covers joining, applying to offers, conversion validation and payouts. For a general introduction, see What Is the Trackdesk Marketplace.

Join the marketplace

Sign up at marketplace.trackdesk.com. The Trackdesk team reviews every registration before granting access.

If you already have an affiliate account in a program that runs on Trackdesk, you can open the marketplace from that account and sign in with one click, without registering again.

The marketplace is for business use. You must act in the course of business, and anyone operating your account must be at least 18. Trackdesk or its payment provider may ask for identity, business, tax or bank details before you can promote offers or receive payouts.

Find and apply to offers

Browse or search the offers and open one to read its terms, including the commission, permitted traffic sources and countries. Some offers let you apply with one click; others ask a few questions about how you plan to promote them. Once your application is approved, you can get your tracking links and start promoting.

Only promote an offer after you have been approved for it, and only through the traffic sources its terms allow.

How conversions are validated

The advertiser validates conversions based on the quality and validation criteria defined for the offer. Conversions from each calendar month are reviewed by the 10th of the following month and end up as:

  • Approved: eligible for settlement

  • Rejected: not eligible for commission under the offer's validation criteria

  • Under review: where there is a reasonable concern about validity, quality or possible fraud

Conversion statuses in the marketplace follow the advertiser's own Trackdesk account, so a conversion the advertiser rejects is rejected in the marketplace too.

What if my conversions are placed under review?

Trackdesk may contact you and ask for more information or evidence about the traffic or conversions. You have 5 business days from the request to respond. The conversions stay pending during the investigation, then are either approved for settlement or rejected based on the offer terms and the evidence.

Keep records of your traffic sources and promotional activity for at least 24 months, as required by the Marketplace Terms & Conditions.

Payouts

When will I get paid?

Trackdesk instructs its payment provider to initiate payouts by the 20th of the following month, provided that:

  • the conversions have been approved

  • Trackdesk has received the corresponding funds from the advertiser

  • no unresolved dispute or investigation affects the payout

  • you have completed the required verification, tax and payment details

  • your balance has reached the minimum payout

Example: September conversions → validated by October 10 → advertiser payment due by October 15 → payout initiated by October 20.

How do I set up payouts?

Marketplace payouts are processed through Stripe. You'll be asked to complete Stripe's onboarding to connect your payout account.

What is the minimum payout?

USD 500 or equivalent. If your balance is below the minimum, it carries over to the next month until it reaches the threshold.

In which currency will I get paid?

All marketplace payouts are in USD. If an offer tracks commissions in another currency, your balance is converted to USD after the end of the month.

Are any fees deducted from my payout?

Payment provider, banking and currency conversion fees may apply and may be deducted from your payout, so the amount you receive may differ from the approved commission balance.

What happens if an advertiser doesn't pay?

Trackdesk facilitates settlement between advertisers and affiliates but does not guarantee commissions if an advertiser fails to pay. Payouts are made only after the advertiser's funds are received, so a late or missing advertiser payment can delay or prevent the related payout. Trackdesk follows up with the advertiser to collect outstanding amounts but does not pay commissions from its own funds.

Can an approved conversion be reversed later?

Yes, in some cases, for example after a refund, chargeback, fraud, duplicate conversion or incorrect attribution discovered later. If the commission was already paid, the amount may be deducted from future commissions or otherwise recovered under the Marketplace Terms & Conditions.

What happens if my account is inactive?

If you send no traffic for 90 consecutive days and your balance is below the minimum payout, your account may be marked as dormant and you'll receive a notice. If you don't resume genuine traffic or ask to close the account within 30 days, the account may be closed. On closure, a one-off administration fee of USD 100 may be deducted (never more than your remaining balance), and any remaining balance is paid out even if it is below the minimum payout.

What traffic is prohibited?

Send genuine, lawful traffic and follow each offer's requirements. Prohibited activity includes:

  • bots or other non-human traffic

  • fake or fraudulent leads or conversions

  • duplicate conversions

  • unauthorized self-referrals

  • unauthorized incentivized traffic

  • spam or misleading advertising

  • manipulating tracking, attribution or commissions

Individual offers may have extra restrictions, so review the offer terms before you start promoting.
