You can control how affiliate payout percentages are displayed to affiliates, whether they are calculated from your revenue or from the full sale amount.
This allows you to decide how commissions are presented within the affiliate interface.
This setting is available only for Network tenants.
Where to find this setting
Navigate to:
Settings → Affiliates → Data visibility
Available options
Revenue based
Affiliate payout percentages are calculated from the revenue (your margin).
Affiliates see their commission as a percentage of your revenue
Useful when you want to show affiliates their share of your earnings
Sales amount based
Affiliate payout percentages are calculated from the total sale amount.
Affiliates see their commission as a percentage of the full sale
Provides a more transparent view relative to the total transaction value
Example
Let’s consider the following conversion:
Sale amount: $100 (total purchase value)
Revenue: 10% → $10 (your margin)
Payout: 10% → $1
Revenue based
Affiliate sees 10% payout
(10% of $10 revenue)
Sales amount based
Affiliate sees 1% payout
($1 out of $100 sale)

Revenue based → percentage is based on your revenue
Sales amount based → percentage is based on total sale value
This setting only affects how payouts are displayed, not how they are calculated internally.
