Multi-factor Authentication

Enhance your account security by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Trackdesk supports MFA via:

  • SMS verification

  • Authentication apps (TOTP)

You can enable MFA for both portal and affiliate logins.

How to set up MFA

MFA can be enabled from your account:

  • Click on the user menu in the upper right corner

  • Select “Multi-factor authentication”

  • You will be redirected to your account page

Before you start

Before enabling MFA, you must verify your email:

  • Click the verification link in the modal

  • Check your inbox

  • Confirm your email by clicking the button in the email

Once verified, you can add MFA methods to your account.

Available MFA methods

You can add one or multiple authentication methods.

SMS verification

  • Enter your phone number (including country code, e.g. +12124567890)

  • You will receive a one-time code via SMS when logging in

Authentication app (TOTP)

  • Use any authentication app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator)

  • Scan the QR code or enter the secret key manually

  • Enter the generated code to confirm setup

Managing MFA

  • After setup, you will see a list of your active MFA methods

  • During login, you can choose which method to use

  • You can have multiple methods configured for backup
