Custom Internal Pages allow you to create and manage custom content pages within your Trackdesk account. These pages can be used to share important information, documentation, or guidelines with your team or affiliates.

This feature is available only on the Enterprise and Network plans (and their Plus variants).

How to Access Custom Internal Pages

1. Navigate to the Settings section in your Trackdesk dashboard

2. Select "Custom Internal Pages" from the menu

Creating a Custom Internal Page

To create a new custom internal page:

  1. Click the "Create a new page" button in the top right corner of the Custom Internal Pages section

  2. Fill in the required fields:

    1. Title: The name of your page (maximum 100 characters)

    2. URL slug: A unique identifier for your page's URL (automatically generated from the title, but can be customized)

    3. Content: The body of your page, which supports rich text formatting

The URL slug must follow these guidelines:

  • Only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens are allowed

  • No spaces or special characters

  • Maximum length of 100 characters

  • Must be unique across all custom internal pages in your account

Each custom internal page can be edited at any time:

  1. Find the page you want to edit in the Custom Internal Pages list

  2. Click on the page title to expand its editing panel

  3. Modify the title, URL slug, or content as needed

  4. Click "Save" to apply your changes

Viewing Custom Internal Pages

To view a published custom internal page:

  1. From the Custom Internal Pages list, click the "Visit" button next to the page you want to view

  2. The page will open in a new browser tab with a clean, formatted layout

Deleting Custom Internal Pages

To delete a custom internal page:

  1. Locate the page in the Custom Internal Pages list

  2. Click the delete (trash) icon next to the page

  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Note: If a custom internal page is currently being used in Menu customization, you must first remove it from the menu before it can be deleted.

Rich Text Editor

The content editor for Custom Internal Pages supports rich text formatting, allowing you to:

  • Format text with bold, italic, and underline

  • Create headings and subheadings

  • Add bulleted and numbered lists

  • Insert hyperlinks

  • Apply text alignment options

  • And more

Using Custom Internal Pages in Menu Customization

Custom Internal Pages can be added to your Trackdesk navigation menu:

  1. Go to Menu Customization in the Settings section

  2. Create a new menu item or edit an existing one

  3. Select "Custom internal page" as the target type

  4. Choose your custom internal page from the dropdown menu

This allows you to make your custom content easily accessible to users from the main navigation.

Limitations

  • The title and URL slug are limited to 100 characters each
